I have three new products in the store this week ...
[You can find small packages - abc cards here at twolittlepixels ...]
This is a fun mini hybrid project you might like to try with your kids ... especially if you are trying to think of ways to amuse them during the holidays! :) This could take a whole day! Give the kids a digital camera and arrange a treasure hunt; they have to photograph an object/person for each letter of the alphabet. Then download their images and choose one to go on each alphabet card.
Then the kids have to think up three to five words describing their photo. They can type them on the cards themselves or you can help them. When you are done, just print the cards onto 4x6 in photo paper. If you are after durability, then you can have them laminated. It's nice also to see what the kids think are important at this time in their life. Sound like fun? Here are some cards that Carol and I did ...

HI Sharon
I just had to come and say THANKYOU! I have been meaning to make an template for alphabet cards but just haven't gotten around to it, and lo and behold you have made one! I purchased it straight away and have been busy going through photos to suit! My youngest has a lot of problems with letter recognition and the school want us to practice more! Not sure what else I can do, but I think a personalised alphabet book is going to be a winner. I am getting a landscape A4 (ish) book printed, with two 'cards' on each page. Thankyou so much! Here is the link to the slideshow of the album so far.
